The drug control branches in Damascus and its countryside arrested ten drug dealers and abusers in possession of the drug hashish, 759 Captagon pills and 200 narcotic pills.
And the Ministry of Interior stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that based on the information received by the Narcotics Control Branch in Damascus countryside, and after follow-up and monitoring, the branch managed to arrest four people and seize a “Suzuki” car and confiscate one kilogram of six hundred and twenty grams of hashish. A tramadol pill, a quantity of Captagon pills, an electronic scale and a gun spear.
The ministry stated that, by interrogating the arrested, they confessed to their possession, abuse, promotion and indulgence of narcotic substances. Two other people were arrested in the “Abbasid” area, and they were seized in possession of 600 grams of hashish.
In a related context, the Ministry stated that the Narcotics Control Branch in Damascus managed to arrest two people in the “Mazzeh” area, and seized in their possession eight hundred twenty grams of the narcotic substance of hashish, one hundred and ninety Captagon pills, and another person in the “Al-Qadam” area. A Captagon pill, five grams of hashish, an unlicensed hunting rifle, and another found in his house in the corner of religion on various narcotic pills, an amount of eight hundred and twenty grams of hashish, and an electronic scale.
The ministry indicated that investigations are still continuing to reveal all those involved with them to take the necessary measures against them.
