US President Reacts to Democratic nominee Joe Biden's Announcement of California Senator Appointed Vice President • "She is known as someone who does not always tell the truth"

The White House race: The President of the United States responded tonight (Wednesday) to the election of Senator Camela Harris as the Vice President of Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

The president made the remarks during a White House press conference shortly after Biden's announcement. "I was surprised by her choice, especially after her poor performance during the early elections," but added that for him she was "in first place to face her."

Trump noted the fact that Harris won 2% of the vote which ultimately led to her retirement from the race in December 2019. He then went on to attack the "disrespectful and disgusting" behavior according to Vice President Baiden and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kwana during the early election ; "She was very disgusting to them and that's one of the reasons I was surprised by her choice. It's hard to choose someone who behaved this way."

Recall, during a televised confrontation between Democratic candidates last summer in Miami, Harris slammed accusations against the former vice president for finding a common denominator with senators with whom he had disagreements on many issues especially in the 1970s over interracial tensions in the state.

The president later commented on Harris 'views on various issues, saying, "She is known as someone who does not always tell the truth. She has admitted to using cannabis, she is interested in raising taxes, cutting military funding, and taking 180 million Americans' health insurance."

Meanwhile, minutes after Biden's announcement, Trump's campaign team attacked the decision and labeled Harris as "fake." Before the briefing, Trump tweeted a video from his campaign claiming that "voters rejected Harris, they recognized her forgery - but not Biden. He handed Kamala the reins to embrace the radical left. 'Joe Haiti' and 'Fake Kamela': Perfect Together - not good for America. "
