Today, a spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, announced that 174 new deaths from the Coronavirus have been recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 19162.
Sadat Lari said in a statement that 2,625 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number to 336,324 cases.
In the Philippines, the Ministry of Health recorded 4,002 new cases of coronavirus and 23 deaths during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said that the total number of confirmed cases in the Philippines rose to 147,526, the highest number recorded in Southeast Asia, while the number of confirmed deaths reached 2,426.
In the Sultanate of Oman, the authorities announced that the total number of HIV infections reached 82,531, an increase of 232 cases, and 551 deaths, an increase of 12 cases during the past 24 hours.
In addition, the Greek authorities announced the registration of the first case of infection with the Coronavirus among migrants in a camp on one of the Greek islands.
This is a dangerous indicator, especially in light of the poor conditions that migrants live in in the camps, which lack many health and environmental factors.
