Tartous-Sana
The Syrian Railways branch in Tartous, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in the governorate, executed today a practical statement that included simulations of firefighting, rescue, ambulance and evacuation work.
In turn, Wasim Al-Khatib, head of the Self-Protection Department at the Railways Branch and the supervisor of the course, explained that the number of trainees in the course is 20 elements, and its importance lies in raising the level of workers to deal with any emergency event and to ensure their readiness.
Yasser Dayoub, head of the readiness department in the governorate, indicated that the statement is made in coordination between the Ministry of Transport and the Directorate of Civil Defense and the governorate to train employees on all civil defense work while providing everything necessary for the success of these courses.
A number of trainees emphasized the importance of the course in raising their ability to deal with any emergency so that they would have a complete idea of how to face it.
