Last night, a US official rejected the words of businessman Haim Saban, as if he were the one who led to the agreement with the United Arab Emirates: "I am not aware of any non-governmental entity that was involved in these successful negotiations," the US official said in response to Israel Today. However, he added: "The United States congratulates all peace supporters and hopes that the region will become its own and more prosperous."
Yesterday (Thursday), Saban claimed in an interview with News 12 that he served as a mediator in the historic peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Saban's words came after the signing of the agreement to normalize relations between the countries. According to reports in the Arab news agencies, the peace agreement between the two countries will be called the "Bnei Avraham Agreement".

US President Trump called the agreement, which was reached through American mediation, "a significant breakthrough between our two large companies." Prime Minister Netanyahu referred to the political cooperation as "a new era in Israel's relations with the Arab world." Ben-Zaid confirmed: "The United Arab Emirates has agreed to normalize relations with Israel in exchange for halting the annexation plan."
The agreement drew widespread reactions, both in Israel and around the world. The Palestinian Authority was furious and said: "We condemn the normalization agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. This is an agreement that shattered the vision of two states and the Arab peace initiative. We call on the United Arab Emirates to withdraw from the agreement."
