The prosecution requested their indictment for aggravated violence and requested their placement in pre-trial detention. According to a source close to the investigation, they slapped and kicked the victim. One of them has a criminal record for extortion and violence. With " many superficial wounds and contusions ", the nurse refused to be taken care of by the firefighters. He was prescribed five days of total incapacity for work (ITT).

The alleged attackers were unaware of the profession exercised by this passenger, according to the source close to the investigation. The vocation of a caregiver does not stop at the doors of a hospital or a practice. It is precious. It’s generous. It protects us all. Shame and anger that it can reap in return this cowardly and infamous violence. Support and affection for this nurse ”, tweeted the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran.

Attacks related to the compulsory wearing of a mask are increasing

He had wanted to check one person's ticket and had demanded that three other passengers wear masks. On July 31, a minor suspected of having hit an Orléans bus driver was indicted for “ violence against a person charged with a public service mission ”. The day before, a fight had broken out in a Dijon tram between users and a tram driver who had asked them to wear a mask.
