The Palestinian Authority announced this Thursday evening the “immediate” recall of its ambassador to Abu Dhabi in protest against the agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

"At the request of President Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry has decided to immediately recall its ambassador to the United Arab Emirates following the agreement (...) to normalize Israeli-Emirati relations , " said the chief of Palestinian diplomacy Riyad Al-Maliki, in a statement sent to AFP.
