A former school principal in Val-de-Reuil (Eure) was sentenced Thursday, August 13 to three years in prison including one year of probation by the criminal court of Evreux for sexual assault on minors, learned the AFP from judicial source.

Incarcerated since August 2019, the 37-year-old teacher remains in detention. He is also subject to an injunction of care as well as the prohibition of contact with minors, it was specified from the same source.
The teacher, who killed several people, at least three of whom, aged three to eight, had been identified, had also been indicted for the possession of child pornography images. About 1,800 child pornography pictures had been found on his computer. This trial followed several complaints from families. The man faced up to 10 years in prison.
