A citizen died and four others were injured in a traffic accident on the Homs-Damascus highway, in the Hassia area, south of Homs.

A source in the Homs Traffic Branch told the SANA reporter that the accident was caused by a collision of two trucks, one of which was a trailer and the other was flat near the town of Hassia, indicating that the accident was caused by excessive speed and lack of attention.

The source pointed out that the injured were transferred to Al-Basil Hospital in the Karm Al-Lawz neighborhood in Homs, to receive the necessary treatment.

It is noteworthy that, yesterday, three civilians died and a fourth was injured in a traffic accident on Homs-Tartous Road in the Al-Haythamiya Descent area in the western countryside of Homs.
