Damascus-Sana

Dentist Noor Al-Amouri obtained a Syrian patent for his invention of a modern technology in the field of orthodontics with additional innovative features that achieve better results at a lower cost.

In a statement to SANA, Dr. Al-Amouri explained that the idea of the invention was traced back to him throughout his study of orthodontic specialization until it gradually crystallized and was able to develop the basic plans and general explanation indicating that the invention is based on the free wire binding system, which is a completely new orthodontic system in terms of using hardened rubber caps. Photocells for brackets, which enable the conversion of ordinary brackets "or systems derived from them" into neutral and cosmetic use of useful accessories to achieve the maximum possible benefit at the lowest possible cost.

The invention, according to Al-Amouri, is characterized by the possibility of choosing any color for the outer face, which conceals the greater part of the metal part of the device, as it covers the entire surface area of the bracket and thus turns into a cosmetic bracket in addition to the ease of cleaning the brackets due to full coverage and preventing the gathering of food residues within the bracket, which improves oral health.

Al-Amouri pointed out that obtaining the certificate required administrative procedures through the Syrian Patent Office at the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, where the details and plans are put in the correct framework and coordination required, so I applied for a patent and the application was transferred to Damascus University for study, and then I obtained the approval of the initial publication. Six months later, I got the certificate.

On the aspirations of Dr. Al-Amouri after obtaining the certificate of invention, he explained that he aspires to reach an investor capable of manufacturing the new system and spreading it globally to support his country in the field of science and medicine in general and to reach the largest possible segment.

Al-Amouri pointed out that he is currently seeking to obtain the second patent in the hope of registering it soon, stressing that the war and its repercussions from difficult circumstances that afflicted our country and its people will not prevent us from continuing to work in order to achieve our ambitions and aspirations.

Dr. Amouri concluded by inviting the Syrian youth to be the line of defense and the shield of the homeland with their determination and will, adding .. I hope that I will be a catalyst for everyone who has new ideas to seek to apply them. Syria is the land of creativity and innovators.

Dr. Nour Al-Amouri graduated from dentistry from Al-Baath University in 2011 and has three books translated from English into Arabic, which is the first part of the dentistry teacher, the principles and procedures of the full prosthetic system, and the principles of dental radiography.
