Pointing out an " acceleration of viral circulation in areas with a high influx of population ", the prefecture indicates in a press release that " given the health trends, the density of flows on certain sites as well as the lack of compliance with the barrier measures observed there ”, the mask will become compulsory from 11 years old, from Saturday until September 15.
A clear acceleration of cases in the region
The areas concerned are the pedestrianized city center of Dijon, as well as the municipal markets of the same city and its suburbs. Also affected is the historic center of Semur-en-Auxois, a tourist town located not far from the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy.
