The Secretary-General of the Nasserite Popular Organization, Lebanese MP Osama Saad, affirmed the continuation of the resistance and its readiness to eliminate the Zionist threat that threatens Lebanon and its wealth.

Saad said in a statement today on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the resistance’s victory over the Israeli aggression in 2006 that “the Zionist threat continues to threaten Lebanon, its people and its wealth, which calls for preparing to resist this danger by moving away from divisions and adopting a defense policy based on enlisting all energies in this confrontation. In addition to enhancing the capabilities of the Lebanese army and providing it with effective and efficient weapons.

Saad pointed out that victory will be the ally of the Arab peoples in facing the enemies of abroad and the regimes of dependency and corruption at home through resistance and sacrifices.

In turn, Sheikh Sadiq al-Nabulsi, a professor of political science at the Lebanese University, emphasized that the victory of July 2006 was a milestone in the course of the conflict with the Israeli enemy.

In a statement today, Nabulsi stressed the importance of continuing resistance to confront the ambitions and threats of the Israeli enemy and confront them.
