Heavy rain , hail and gusts of wind threaten once again . Individual thunderstorms are approaching from the northwest, the German Weather Service (DWD) currently warns in its warning report on Friday. Caution is required at warning level 4 . The DWD warning says:
"CAUTION! Note on possible dangers: There is a danger to life in the event of lightning ! Occasionally, trees can be uprooted and roofs damaged. Pay particular attention to falling branches, tiles or objects. Flooding of basements and streets as well as local flooding of streams and small rivers are possible. For example, landslides can occur. Close all windows and doors! Secure items outdoors! Keep your distance from buildings, trees, scaffolding and high-voltage lines! If possible, avoid staying outside!"
From Lower Saxony over the eastern low mountain range to the edge of the Alps there is a threat of violent thunderstorms with heavy rain. In Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, however, things remain calm. The maximum values today are 24 to 30 degrees. On the Oder and Neisse also up to 32 degrees. On Saturday night, temperatures drop to 20 to 14 degrees.
