The quarantine continues in its 11th period. In the City of Buenos Aires, starting this Monday, hotels for non-tourist purposes and individual sports will be enabled. Schools will also be opened for students who could not connect via virtual.
The head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, gave details on how the new permitted activities will work, within the framework of the "comprehensive plan for the start-up of the City."
The shops of Once and Avellaneda avenue will have to wait and could only reopen within the next 15 days.

From this Monday the practice of the following individual outdoor sports is enabled :

- Athletics
- Golf - Driving

- Figure skating, running skate and skateboarding.
These sports may be practiced in clubs and private institutions , without the use of common spaces, or confectioneries or changing rooms. In the public space, the activities directed by the Buenos Aires Corre and Plazas Activas programs will take place. Sports center activities are only enabled in the Manuel Belgrano Park (former KDT) . The equestrian events will take place at the Palermo racecourse and the motor racing events at the Autodromo de la Ciudad.
In all cases, care and prevention protocols must be followed, and common spaces cannot be used.
The DNI requirement is eliminated according to the day to go out to do physical activity such as walking, cycling and running . You can go out any day always from 18 to 10 in the morning.

On Tuesday, August 18, the authorities of the Buenos Aires Government will meet with representatives of the merchants chambers of Once , of Avellaneda avenue and of the tourism chambers to develop and close a protocol to present to the National Government, with the horizon that can resume their activities within the next 15 days.
The opening of non-essential shops is also being worked on in the Retiro and Constitución Transshipment Centers based on a gradual schedule and care and prevention protocol.
When they can reopen, businesses will work according to the local CUIT number : if it ends in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) they will open on even days; while those who have CUIT finished in an odd number will do so on odd days. The hours will be from 11 to 21.
The customer service is still in force at the premises according to their DNI number: those ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, 8), even day; and DNIs ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, 9), odd day.
Hotels
Hotels will open gradually, but not for tourism purposes.
They will open with a special protocol and gradually. Only the rooms will be available. The use of common areas (bars, gyms, spa, pool) is not allowed. Education

According to Rodríguez Larreta, there are 5,100 children in the City who, due to different social situations during the pandemic, have not been able to maintain their link with the school. They will be contacted at home so that they can reconnect with the school and work on each case.
The first step in the start-up will be to open primary and secondary schools so that all the children who have had some connectivity problem at home can access a computer and the Internet .
It will be done in advance , in a relationship that favors distancing within buildings and classrooms, and the implementation of protocols. The boys will be supervised by the conductions of the schools.
Private management schools will be invited to join and open spaces for the use of computers and internet connection.
"The hygiene protocol is being worked on together with the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health and next week it will be presented to the national authorities," said Rodríguez Larreta.
