After his fall, Remco Evenepoel arrived at the hospital conscious

Victim of a terrible fall during the Tour of Lombardy this Saturday, the Belgian rider Remco Evenepoel was transferred to hospital by ambulance. His team, the Deceuninck-Quickstep indicated that the runner was “conscious” when he was picked up in town. The medical team is currently making a diagnosis. Favorite of the event, Evenepoel (20) crashed into a low wall on a descent before falling into the void and falling to the ground several meters below.
