The German Lennard Kämna (Bora) won on Saturday in Megève the 4th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné now deprived of the winner of the Tour, the Colombian Egan Bernal.
On the eve of the finish of the event, the Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo) kept the yellow leader's jersey despite a fall that occurred during the stage.
To win, Kämna left behind on the climb to the Megève altiport (7.4 km at 4.7%) his companions with a breakaway launched shortly after the start. Spaniard David de la Cruz took second place, forty seconds behind, and Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe third, less than a minute away.
Bernal hit in the back
The group of favorites was settled, at about 3 minutes, by Thibaut Pinot, also victim of a fall without consequences apparently. Egan Bernal has given up taking the start from Ugine (Savoie). Due to back pain, according to his Welsh teammate Geraint Thomas.

Sunday, the 5th and last stage is run around Megève, passing through the Romme and Colombière passes. The arrival is judged again at the Megève altiport after 153.5 kilometers.
