After the heat load recorded over the weekend, no relief is expected tomorrow (Sunday), even the opposite. At the beginning of the week there will be another heaviness in the heat load and heavy to extreme loads will prevail in most areas. 

In the Kinneret valleys, the shores of the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley and the Arava - an extreme heat load is expected. Also in the southern Golan and its slopes, the northern valleys, the Lower and Western Galilee, the coastal plain and the lowlands, the northern Negev and the Judean Desert and the eastern Negev - a heavy heat load is expected.

Monday will be partly cloudy to clear. Heavy to extreme heat loads will continue to prevail in most areas. On Tuesday, there is a slight optimism with a drop in temperatures. It will be partly cloudy to clear, with relief from heat loads. Wednesday will be partly cloudy to clear with no change in temperatures.

Despite the heavy heat over the weekend, about 70,000 hikers visited the national parks and nature reserves on Saturday. 9000 of them to us in the night camps and watch the spectacular meteor shower. In the last two nights, about 30,000 visitors came to the stars of the Nature and Parks Authority in the Negev Mountains and the Ramon Crater National Park to come and watch the stars and enjoy an overnight stay in nature.

Among the prominent sites on Saturday: Yarkon Tel Afek with 2400 hikers, Ashkelon, Ein Gedi and Caesarea with 2,200 hikers at each of the sites, Horshet Tal and Gan Hashlosha with 2,000 hikers at each of the sites.

Meanwhile, in an operation carried out on the beaches over the weekend on Zikim, Nitzanim and Palmachim beaches, 42 incidents of a forbidden trip on the beach were recorded, which endanger human lives.
