Corona - Daily Update: 1,386 diagnosed in the last day, an increase in the percentage of positives

Saturday, 15 August 2020, 20:53The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Monday) that 1,386 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day. This increased the number of verified infections in Israel to 92,198. Yesterday, results were obtained for 20,739 tests, with the percentage of positive for the virus being 7%. The test data and their results are not final and may change in subsequent updates from the Ministry of Health.
The number of active patients is 23,574. The hospitals are hospitalized with 846 patients, of whom 116 are respirators and 387 are seriously ill. To date, 674 people have died from the corona virus in Israel. So far 67,950 have recovered and been released to their homes.
Yesterday, 1,639 people were diagnosed in Corona. The number of tests was 27,919 tests, with a positive percentage of the virus being 6.1%.
