Cyclist killed in Paris: the driver indicted for "aggravated manslaughter"

Three days after having fatally overturned a cyclist while fleeing the police, a young man of 21 years was indicted on Saturday for "aggravated manslaughter" and drug trafficking, then imprisoned, we learned from a judicial source.

Pursued by the police, the fugitive then struck a cyclist at the crossroads of Boulevard Raspail and Boulevard Montparnasse, in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The cyclist, 59, was deceased.

The driver was under the influence of drugs
