Ernesto Sanz put an end to his militant impasse and resumed the activity at full speed. As Clarín told days ago, in a chronicle of his virtual return to the political party debate, one of his main objectives is to strengthen the Radical Civic Union (UCR) in the province of Buenos Aires, which he considered to be "the mother of the battles ".

"I am convinced that the mother of the battles is the province of Buenos Aires, beyond the Radical Civic Union, because the problem in Argentina is not an electoral battle, it is a cultural battle, " evaluated the Mendoza.

The former head of the UCR stated this when participating in a videoconference on Zoom with his fellow Buenos Aires members. He called on them to take on the challenges imposed by "resistance and the construction" of a democratic alternative.

Ernesto Sanz during a Zoom with radicals from Diamante, Entre Ríos.

"The return of Kirchnerism to power in the Nation and in the province of Buenos Aires, has put white on black what is actually being fought in democratic Argentina. There are two models of democracy in conflict and that of the province of Buenos Aires Aires is precisely the model that Kirchnerism wants to represent for the entire country, "he argued.

Sanz, who played a key role in materializing alliances with the PRO and with the Civic Coalition to establish Cambiemos, evaluated that in this model of Kirchnerism "anything goes."

"Collect votes for the left with Father Pepe and for the right with (the Minister of Security, Sergio) Berni. Where is the ideological coherence? It does not matter, we go with the villeros priests, Father Pepe, with (Juan) Grabois and for Right, we took Berni out, who is now the champion of security and we are gathering on the right, "he questioned, repeating what the talk to Entre Rios had said a week ago.

Before the attentive gaze of 1000 followers who saturated the platform, among which Ricardo Gil Lavedra, Facundo Suárez Lastra and Karina Bandi, and the mayor of La Rioja, Inés Brizuela and Doria, to mention just a few, the radical leader considered that it is "a phenomenal hypocrisy that does a lot of damage to politics."

For this reason, Sanz remarked to the Buenos Aires radicals that in the current scenario the needs for "resistance" and "construction" coexist because, he explained, Together for Change enjoys the necessary unity and strength and the support of a society such as the who went out to march against the official intervention of Vicentin and the one that now rejects the judicial reform.

"We have the two things that are needed to resist and to build an alternative. We have a political force that is Together for Change and we have a society at our side that is pushing us , supporting us and demanding, " he added.

He even warned that if these commitments are not assumed and the radicals "do not do what they have to do", society will promote "a much worse claim" in the future.

"I am in politics supporting my friends to death"

Ernesto Sanz Former Senator of the UCR

"My vision is optimistic, beyond all the evils, the hardships, the emergency situation and the attempt again for hegemony, to overwhelm institutions, of populism plus the addition of hatred, revenge and revenge with which they have come" , he clarified.

Internal noise by Sanz-Vidal

Unlike what he had maintained days ago, this time the former head of the UCR did not refer to his conversations with former governor María Eugenia Vidal.

It is that in a previous Zoom, which had been uploaded to Facebook on Friday, August 7 and canceled on Wednesday after Clarín realized its existence, the Mendoza told that Vidal was going to get into the radical intern in Province to support the continuity of the line of Daniel Salvador, who leads as candidate Maximiliano Abad, close to Sanz.

“I had a close-up zoom with María Eugenia Vidal, I hadn't talked to her for a long time. Much. Impressive ... In the sense of the community of interests and vision, he is going to put himself fully into helping Maxi, because he wants radicalism to have young leadership, so that they help her to produce a change and realignment of leadership inside the PRO, "said Sanz.

That generated noise within the UCR of Buenos Aires, especially in the sectors that dispute the power of the provincial ruling party. “It is bad that he tells us that and that he says that he heard from (former governor María Eugenia) Vidal, in which he asks who the elected representative has to be. It's bad to mess around. In the Buenos Aires UCR, the affiliate is expressed, ” the mayor of San Isidro, Gustavo Posse, another candidate to preside over the Provincial Committee , told Clarín .

Gustavo Posse, mayor of San Isidro, another candidate for the UCR Province Committee.

"But even the internal one is priority 400 , especially for those of us in management," said Posse, who pointed out that all radical mayors, regardless of which sector they play internally, expect the election date to be flexible. especially because they consider it irresponsible to vote on October 11, in the midst of the pandemic.

" You can't have a barbecue, you're going to have an internal one ", is one of the comments that circulates within the UCR del Conurbano.

While demanding a change in the election date, the mayor of San Isidro is holding conversations with Martín Lousteau and his candidate for the Committee, Pablo Domenichini , to set the rules of the game that “unite them” and strengthen the internal democracy of the party .

This would translate into a more equitable distribution of power to influence party decisions, changing the logic that dictates that whoever wins, even by one vote, gets everything.

Domenichini, president of Brown University and former FUA head, also criticized the former senator. "It is strange that a leader of another party can become involved in the internal institutional life of the UCR of Buenos Aires, but that radicals ask for 'help' to resolve it not only does not correspond but is unprecedented," he launched.

It is strange that a leader of another party can get involved in the internal institutional life of the @ucrbuenosaires, but that radicals ask for "help" to resolve it not only does not correspond but is unprecedented. We expect a rectification from Sanz
