The head of the Food and Drug Organization in Iran, Mohammad Reza Shana Saz, announced that his country has managed to produce remdesivir, which is used to treat the Corona virus, indicating that it will be distributed in hospitals next week.
Sane said in a statement today that "remdesivir was imported from outside the country and distributed in hospitals, but Iran was able to manufacture it and it will soon achieve self-sufficiency in this area."
Shana Saz pointed out that all medicines treating Corona are currently produced in Iran.
