The Ministry of Health has assigned the four-digit number 9195 to book an appointment for a Coronavirus (BCR) detection test for traveling at medical points identified by the Ministry in Damascus.
The ministry stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that a quadrant number has been assigned to book a date for a swab procedure within the medical points approved by the Ministry in Damascus for citizens wishing to conduct a test for the detection of Coronavirus (BCR) for the purpose of travel to ease the congestion that the points witnessed in the past days.
The ministry explained that it is possible to start booking appointments by calling the four-way number starting tomorrow between nine o'clock in the morning and one in the afternoon during the official working days, and the name, phone number and time of travel are given during the call. Accordingly, a text message is sent on the same day to the caller specifying the date of the procedure. Swab and its place, whether in Al-Galaa Sports City, Tishreen, or Al-Fayhaa Hall in Damascus, taking into account "the travel time and the number of swabs available daily, which is 300 swabs."
The ministry stated that when citizens go to perform the swab on the date specified in the message, they must bring their passport and airline tickets and show the message that they received, indicating that the value of the swab will be paid at the center without the need to go to one of the commercial bank branches except for diplomats who will pay its value in dollars at the bank.
Regarding those who cut a previous connection and did not take the swab after, the ministry said: “Tomorrow, Sunday, is allocated only in the cities of Al-Galaa Sports and Tishreen Al-Riyadiah for taking swabs for those who received a payment receipt before the date of August 14, 2020, as for the medical points specified in Lattakia and Aleppo to take swabs related to the Coronavirus. Due to travel, the Ministry indicated that it can be directly reviewed for testing.
The ministry pointed out that those wishing to test can take a BCR test in private laboratories in Damascus, namely “Al-Qatranji, Al-Khatib, Hoda Subah, Mazen Kanj and Naji Saba”.
