The Russian authorities announced the registration of 4,969 cases and 68 new deaths from the emerging corona virus, bringing the total number of cases to 922,853 cases and deaths to 15,685 cases.
Sputnik news agency quoted the Russian Center for Coronavirus Fighting as saying in a statement today that the number of people recovered reached 732,968 after the recovery of 3,557 people, indicating that the rate of increase in the number of daily injuries reached 0,5 percent.
The statement indicated that the number of injured people in the capital, Moscow, rose to 252,374 after 688 new injuries were recorded, while the number of deaths reached 4,656 after 11 new cases were recorded, and Russia ranks fourth in the world in the list of Corona injuries after the United States, Brazil and India.
