The Social Affairs and Labor Directorate in Al-Hasakah, in cooperation with a number of non-governmental and charitable societies throughout the governorate, has launched a sterilization campaign in implementation of precautionary measures to address the Coronavirus.
The Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Issam Al-Hussein, stated in a statement to the SANA reporter that the campaign includes sterilizing all offices, official institutions, trade unions and popular organizations in the city center of Al-Hasakah.
Al-Hussein indicated that the associations will distribute free cleaning materials, sterilizers and masks to workers in government departments, and coordination has also been made with Hasakah City Council to carry out sterilization campaigns for the main streets and public squares.
In addition, the “Sorouh Development” association and the two charitable “Anna Insan” association started operating their own workshops to produce medical masks through partnership with the “Syria for Social Development” association, which secured the raw materials for manufacturing.
