The Corona Cabinet this evening (Sunday) approved an amendment to the restrictions of the gathering: In a telephone poll, the ministers decided that "in restaurants, public places, businesses and prayer houses the number of people will be limited to 20 people indoors regardless of size, and 30 people in open space, provided it is possible "Maintain a distance of two meters between people," according to a joint statement from the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Health. In businesses and restaurants the rules of the "purple character" will continue.

This is an amendment to the previous proposal, according to which the quota will be limited to ten people in a closed space of up to 80 square meters. However, the restaurant owners criticized the decision, claiming that it would further harm them and the possibility of running their business.

"Unless another decision is made in the Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, the regulations will enter into force tomorrow at 19:00," the ministry said in a statement.
