The Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Sergio Berni , denied having spoken with the prosecutor about the case of the disappearance of Facundo Astudillo Castro after the discovery of a body, as reported by the mother of the young man who disappeared 109 days ago.

In statements to the A24 news channel , the official also denied having spoken with the prosecutor in the case in the last hours: " It is one more lie of the many that circulate permanently, " he emphasized.
He also indicated that "during the investigation many things have been said, but the judge has never determined any link between Facundo's disappearance and the police ."
However, he argued that it is necessary to investigate the activity of "some were more concerned with diverting the investigation than finding the truth."
"We want this case to be clarified quickly and surely later there will be many things to contribute that remained in the pipeline", defined Berni.
He said that from the outset he neither denied nor confirmed police involvement in the incident, and that he spoke with the mother "within 24 hours of starting the investigation."
