(CNN Spanish) - The Episcopal Conference of El Salvador announced this Sunday, in a statement, that the temples will open their doors from August 30 for worship with the presence of the faithful.
The ecclesiastical authorities also announced that they took this measure since they detected a decrease in the cases of covid-19.

They added that the opening of the churches will be gradual with compliance with the institution's protocols and following the biosecurity measures prescribed by the government.
The Episcopal Conference also stressed that each bishop, if he considers it appropriate, will give his own norms for some temples, taking into account the particular circumstances of that place.
