A customer of the Pelephone company complained about an operation offered to him by a representative of the cellular company, which was not honored by the company.

According to the complaint, a representative of the Pelephone company called S., the company's customer, and offered him an upgrade in the surfing package and calls abroad with the addition of Galaxy wireless headphones and an additional cost of three shekels per month.

S., who suspected this amount, repeatedly asked in the conversation if this was indeed the amount in question. He did not even open the package of headphones he received, as he wanted to make sure the credit charge was correct. When he found out that he had been charged more than he had been promised, he turned to the company, but he refused to cancel the inflated charge. S. was surprised to discover that he was charged NIS 26 for 36 months, that is, more than NIS 900, for headphones he did not want and that it was made clear to him that they would cost him a total of a few shekels.

After talking to a manager at the company, he was told that they would not cancel the charge, even though the product is completely closed. It should be noted that after speaking with the company representative at the beginning of last week on this issue, he was canceled a one-time charge that was not clarified to him in the conversation. However, as stated, the company refused to cancel the charge of the headphones.

It was only after the "Israel Today" intervention that S. was informed that he could return the headphones and that the charge would be canceled.

The Pelephone company responded: "The request has been examined, the conduct does not comply with the company's procedures. The issue has been addressed to the customer's satisfaction."
