The American Post is at the center of a national controversy. In the midst of a health crisis, and with less than three months of the presidential election, the United States Postal Service (USPS) announced that it would not be able to send the ballots in time for them to be counted on the date of the poll, next November 3. The practice of postal voting, common in the United States, is denounced by Donald Trump as a source of potential fraud. For Democrats, whose voters use this method more frequently than those in the Republican Party, the announcement amounts to an attempt to influence the outcome of the election.
