(ANSA) - NAPLES, AUGUST 17 - He killed his wife, strangling her, and tried to make believe that the woman was dead, instead, suicidal. This is what was discovered following the investigations of the Giugliano carabinieri, coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office of North Naples, regarding the death of a woman last 12 July in the Neapolitan area, in Lago Patria.
The suspect had alerted the carabinieri and 118 asserting that upon awakening he had found his wife, lifeless, hanged from the cord of the curtains, in the living room of their home. Since the inspection doubts emerged about his version: the autopsy examination confirmed that the cause of the death was strangulation preceded by a struggle.
