Hundreds of people from Rosario gathered on Monday at the National Monument to the Flag to participate in the protest against the national government that was replicated in different parts of the country.

"No to the republiqueta KK", "No to judicial reform" or "Enough of impunity" were some of the improvised posters carried by the assistants of the so-called "patriotic banner."

The 17A was launched on social networks , as happened with the concentrations of June 20 and July 9. During the protest, no party flags or symbols were displayed, but local leaders of the opposition participated in the activity.

On a spring afternoon, on the banks of the Paraná River, people gathered at the foot of the emblematic monument and on Belgrano Avenue. Many others preferred to accompany from their cars, so they made their support felt with horns.

If on June 20 the call was driven by the rejection of intervention in the Vicentin firm and on July 9 the claims were more varied, the judicial reform project promoted by the Government was among the most questioned points. "No to manipulated reform" , raised one of the posters.

“It is an outrage to the institutions. In the middle of the quarantine, do you want to promote this issue? ”; questioned Juan, a 63-year-old man.

The march was also crossed by the scope of the pandemic and was carried out while a growing number of coronavirus infections is registered in Rosario, the largest conglomerate in the province. On July 15, the city had a total of 198 cases and a month later there are 1,478. On July 22, it was also confirmed that he has community circulation of the virus.

Most of the protesters wore their chinstrap, as claimed in the call through social networks, but it was not noticed that the distancing was respected. "End of the unconstitutional quarantine," claimed a young woman with a banner.

Others carried messages with which they supported, despite the express sanitary disavowals and the death of a 5-year-old in Neuquén, to consume chlorine dioxide to avoid contagion. "We all take chlorine dioxide and we are healthy," read a yellow sign.

A poster raised concerns about the possibility of applying a vaccine. “Vaccination is a medical intervention with risks. Inform yourself before vaccinating ”, indicated the banner.

The health situation led the local mayor, Pablo Javkin, to raise objections with the call. “It is important to respect all opinions, but today the priority is to take care of ourselves. We are in a difficult moment and we have a lot of ways to express ourselves, "he said after leading a modest event to remember José de San Martín.

The national deputy of Together for Change and vice president of the PRO, Federico Angelini, was one of the main leaders who participated in the meeting in Rosario.

"Clearly it is not the ideal to go out and demonstrate in these conditions , but it is not the ideal that while they ask you to stay at home the National Government is not putting emphasis on defending the pillars of the Republic," said the legislator.

In the midst of the concentration against the Government, two parades hung in front of the Monument to the Flag, which read: “Love conquers hatred. President force ”.

They did not have a signature and were located near the police custody arranged at the site. They were finally uprooted by the protesters, which in one case led to struggles and forced the intervention of some agents.
