Today (Monday), President Reuven Rivlin sent a letter to Muhammad bin Zayed, the United Arab Emirates' heir, inviting him to visit Israel.

"In these fateful days, leadership is tested for its courage and ability to be groundbreaking and far-sighted," Rivlin began his letter. "The agreement reached between our countries, mediated by US President Donald Trump, and the US administration, which will be signed soon, inshallah, under your leadership and leadership and in full and mutual coordination with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is a strategic milestone for new processes in our region."
