  • In Rottach-Egern am Tegernsee a hen party ended less fun.
  • The women were missing some valuables.
  • A woman from Bad Wiessee was therefore on trial.

Rottach-Egern - Five friends from Hamburg and Munich had certainly imagined the hen party in April 2019 to be different. They were guests in the Tegernsee valley and went to a Rottach nightclub to celebrate . Like other bachelor parties at Tegernsee before, their trip now had legal consequences.

Bachelorette party at Tegernsee: When the women want to go home, the handbag is gone

Because shortly before the quintet wanted to start their way home to a nearby guesthouse in the early hours of the morning, the shock came: The handbag with several cell phones, credit cards and cash had disappeared. A supposed thief was identified that night - a 20-year-old from Bad Wiessee. She now had to answer questions at the Miesbach district court.

The supposed thief at the hen party at Tegernsee was very drunk

According to the indictment, the 20-year-old should have stolen 200 euros in four 50-euro bills. But she didn't want to hear about theft. A friend gave her a jacket because she was cold. "But the jacket belonged to the women, which I didn't realize at the time because I was heavily drunk."

Cash from the bra: stolen goods or not?

When the friends saw her with the jacket on, it was obvious to them that she might have something to do with the disappearance of the bag. "You talked to me and wanted your money back," said the accused. "I then gave them 150 euros from my bra in three 50-euro bills." But it was about their own money. She gave the jacket to the women immediately.

Suspected thief pulls fifties out of bra - have they been stolen?

A witness (31) from Hamburg stated that the bag had already appeared again. But it was missing 200 euros and a friend's watch. The Wiesserin "was sitting at the entrance of the nightclub and had several jackets on and a couple of cell phones on the table in front of her," said the 31-year-old. One of the jackets belonged to a friend of hers. When asked whether she also had the 200 euros, the 20-year-old answered in the negative. "She then gave us 150 euros from her bra, " confirmed the Hamburg woman. Apparently she didn't have the remaining 50 euros .” A woman from Munich (33) from the group remembered a lipstick that was in the jacket that the woman from Wiesser was wearing. What is explosive is that "the lipstick was previously in our pocket," said the Munich resident. That once again raised suspicions.

Two young men also behaved suspiciously

The next witness (31) from Hamburg brought two young men into play: "I had such a suspicion that they had something to hide, and I followed them to the men's toilet," said the woman from Hamburg. In fact, when the boys left the toilet, the bag was in their hand. “Of course I took them away from them immediately.” Cell phones and credit cards were back - there was no cash or watch. The 31-year-old probably lost the latter while dancing, "because the bartender gave it to me when I asked."

For the prosecutor, the theft of the 200 euros was obvious. How exactly this came about is an unsolved mystery. “Still, I won't give my own money if I haven't stolen anything.” She pleaded for 500 euros to be paid for the accused, who had four previous convictions , including for theft . Defense attorney Andreas Schwarzer was also aware of the theft. But the crucial question is: “Who was it? From my point of view, namely the two boys. ”His client was drunk and therefore,“ after being chatted about for half an hour by the women ”, gave her own 150 euros.

Judge: "In case of doubt for the accused"

For district court director Klaus-Jürgen Schmid, the matter was too opaque for a judgment. He dismissed the Wiesserin with an acquittal. Even if the story that it was the defendants' own money struck him as strange: "In case of doubt, the defendant will be decided."
