The Central Bank branch in Daraa rehabilitated the headquarters of the main branch, which was attacked by terrorist groups with rocket-propelled grenades before their withdrawal from the area.

Branch Director Issa Al-Qassim stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that the Central Bank branch in Daraa has rehabilitated its main headquarters with a total value of 19.251 million Syrian pounds, indicating that the implementing agency for the rehabilitation is the Military Housing Corporation, Branch No. 6.

Al-Qassim added that the rehabilitation works included repairs on the eastern side of the building, some repairs to the columns and stairs, in addition to maintenance and replacement of windows and doors that were subjected to cracking, noting that the rehabilitation work was imposed by necessities related to the investment of the entire building, especially as it includes branches of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank, the Syrian Commercial Bank and the General Insurance Corporation.
