Last night (Monday), Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu removed a tweet on Twitter in which he appeared in an interview with the Sky News network in Arabic, which broadcasts from the United Arab Emirates. During the interview, Netanyahu was asked by the interviewer how the new agreement between the United Arab Emirates and peace in the Middle East would benefit, and in response he said that "in a big way. The agreement connects the emirates with Israel, both democratic and progressive and their companies advanced."

Netanyahu took pride in an interview and posted it on his Twitter account. However, it was soon deleted, as the UAE is not defined as a democracy, but as a constitutional monarchy. No elections are held in the country, and the formation of parties is prohibited.

In addition, according to a large number of human rights organizations, the state violates a long list of other democratic principles.
The American research company Freedom House defined the level of freedom in the union with a score of 17 out of 100. The same score is given to Iran.

In the UAE the regime is inherited and consists of seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras al-Khaimah, Fujira and Umm al-Qawin. At the head of all statements is a sheikh, whose rule is inherited.

The leader of all emirates is decisive in the internal questions of policy in the fields of economics, society and religion, while the foreign and defense policy of the emirates is common. The Supreme Council, the unifying governing body of the two countries, is headed by the president, who has extensive political powers and is elected for a five-year term among the emirs of the states, although in practice Amir Abu Dhabi always serves as president.

The emirates have a federal legal system, and all the emirates except Abu Dhabi and Ras al-Khaima have joined it. All emirates have secular and Islamic laws for citizens, criminals and the high courts.
