Again insecurity and a dramatic end in the Conurbano. A five-month-old pregnant woman who had been brutally beaten during an assault in La Matanza last week lost her baby.

The assault suffered by Nadia (20) and her mother Romina (42) occurred on Wednesday of last week in Castañón and Councilor Luis Alberto Settino, in the town of Isidro Casanova.

That day Nadia had some stomach pains, she asked for a patch to go to the hospital and, as there was a long delay, she decided to call her mother to pick her up with the car.

When she arrived, the young woman went to one of the rear doors of the car and at that moment three armed robbers arrived. "They come running. They run to one side of my mother and come to take my uncle out," Nadia said in an interview with TN the day after the assault, when he had already been discharged.

The young woman still cannot believe the reaction she had when she saw that she was pointed at her uncle. "I thought they were going to do something to him, so I kicked him twice in the face (the thief). I try to drop the gun. There he got hot and started firing shots," he said.

Romina, Nadia's mother, was shot in the leg. Later, one of the assailants forcibly removed Nadia from the car. "He told me: 'you came' and he started hitting me on the head," said the victim, who was lowered by the hair and was hit several times in the skull.

Nadia, the 5-month pregnant woman who suffered a brutal assault in La Matanza and lost her baby.

Already on top of the car, the thieves started and saw that another vehicle was coming. They were relatives of Nadia. The criminals thought that the car was going to block their way, they hit it and also fired.

Romina was thrown on the floor because she had been shot in the ankle and Nadia noticed blood dripping from her head. The two women were taken to Paroissien Hospital in a patrol car.

Nadia was discharged the next day, while her mother remained in the hospital for one more day and her injured leg was still immobilized.

However, this Monday, five days after the violent episode, Nadia felt very strong contractions and, as she could not control them, she went back to the hospital. There they tried to stabilize her, but the contractions began to be stronger and stronger until the young woman suffered a miscarriage.

"She had some discomfort last week and with the robbery it got worse," said Romina, her mother, in dialogue with Clarín .

"Nadia is fine, maybe tomorrow she will be discharged. But she is very sad and we are holding her in," said the woman.

Now, the prosecutor in the case, Gastón Bianchi of UFI N ° 3 in La Matanza, ordered an autopsy on the fetus and histopathological studies on Nadia to confirm whether the abortion was caused by the assault , according to sources from the investigation. Along these lines, the charges against the assailants could include the crime of wrongful or intentional abortion.

The sequence was recorded by a security camera of a business located on the corner of the victim's house. With these images, investigators try to identify the assailants.

That same camera, a day later and at the same time that the assault on Nadia and her family had occurred, recorded another robbery involving two motorcycle jets that attacked a neighbor who was walking. The unusual thing is that they went around the block and crossed another person who they also robbed.
