  • The number of people infected with the corona virus increases every day
  • The district office notes that many have become more careless
  • Now measures are to be taken against it

Fürstenfeldbruck - The thousandth corona infection was recently recorded in the Fürstenfeldbruck district. There are still new infections almost every day, according to the district office. The district authority notes a "somewhat greater carelessness in compliance with the Corona rules". Therefore, the police in the Fürstenfeldbruck district are currently again increasingly checking compliance with the infection control measures regulation. The district office imposes fines of up to 5000 euros, depending on the severity of the violation. Around 900 violations have been reported to the district office since March, and their processing will still take some time.

Corona rules: The general decree

Since the first general decree valid throughout Bavaria on the occasion of the corona pandemic came into force on March 17, 2020, regulations on protection against the corona virus have been mandatory throughout Bavaria. These regulations are continuously adapted to the current infection situation: the lower the current risk, the less measures that restrict the lives of fellow citizens are necessary and appropriate.

The Sixth Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance currently applies. Despite numerous relaxations in recent months, this still forbids a lot: The most important basic rule is still that everyone is encouraged to reduce physical contact to a minimum and to keep the group of people as constant as possible. Wherever possible, keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between two people. In addition, staying together in public spaces is still only permitted in groups of up to ten people, provided that they are not members of your own household, relatives, life partners or members of another household. The ordinance also regulates to what extent and under what conditions different events are permitted, which facilities are allowed to reopen under what conditions and when a mask requirement applies.

The police monitor compliance with the corona rules

Compliance with the infection control measures regulation is monitored by the police. If this determines a violation, it is recorded and passed on to the district administration as the responsible district administrative authority. There, the violation will be checked again as part of administrative offense proceedings and a fine will be issued if there is a violation. The district office is still in the process of processing the existing notifications: so far, over 900 notifications have been received. At the moment, the police are increasingly checking again because of a certain negligence within the population regarding compliance with the applicable regulations. This is also reflected in the incoming advertisements.

Corona rules: The fines can be sensitive

In the event of violations of the Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, sensitive fines can be imposed, reports the district office: For example, staying in public spaces with people who are not included in the permitted group of people is punishable by a fine of 150 euros per person, it can be just as expensive for one Violation of the mask requirement. An event or meeting that is not permitted will cost participants 500 euros, but it will be significantly more expensive for the organizer who has to pay 5,000 euros. 5,000 euros are also due for business owners who open their business without ensuring that protective measures such as minimum distance and maximum number of visitors are observed. This applies to shops as well as to leisure facilities or restaurants.

If you are unsure whether a certain project is currently permitted or not, it is worth taking a look at the websites of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, for Sport and Integration and the Bavarian State Ministry for Health and Care. A large number of "Frequently Asked Questions" are answered there and the currently valid Infection Protection Regulation is displayed:

In addition to the legal regulations, the basic rule to avoid infections continues to be: keep your distance, observe hygiene and wear everyday masks.
