The Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set on Saturday the third of October next “eleven o'clock in the morning” as a date to conduct a standardized nursing exam “October 2020 session” for fourth-year students of nursing faculties in the Syrian public and private universities undergoing graduation who wish to apply for a comparison of studies The higher education centers in the universities of "Aleppo, Tishreen and Hama".
The center stated in an announcement that SANA received a copy of it today that the exam is conducted according to the National Academic Reference Standards "NARS" that specify the minimum level of knowledge and practical skills, and it is a model of multiple-choice questions in the fields of internal and surgical nursing, critical care nursing, gynecological and neonatal nursing, pediatric and community health nursing Nursing Administration.
The student’s success in the exam and obtaining fifty percent is a condition for graduation, and the student benefits from the examination aid by only two marks, while his success and obtaining a score of sixty percent is a condition for applying for differentiation of graduate studies.
Online registration for the examination begins according to the center's announcement during the period between 1-9-2020 until 9/15-2020, and fees for the examination, which amount to three thousand Syrian pounds for public university students and five thousand for private university students at the Commercial Bank of Syria, are paid on the center's sub-account.
