Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has warned that the US attempt to re-impose sanctions on Iran will have serious consequences for international law and will only destroy international mechanisms and undermine the credibility of the Security Council.
"According to the consensus of all members of the nuclear agreement with Iran, members of the Security Council, and international jurists, the United States is not a member of the agreement and its step is baseless in the international resolution on the agreement 2231," Zarif said during a phone call. .
The Iranian Foreign Minister affirmed that his country expects the Secretary-General of the United Nations and members of the Security Council to carry out their legal duties in the face of the US administration's unruly.
