Curtain. For six months, a leaden layer has fallen on the entertainment world. Canceled festivals, postponed concerts, theaters at half mast, museums with limited attendance, cinemas with half-empty bays… Culture has sunk into a coma. Spoiled children of the French exception, artists pay a heavy price for the health crisis. Deprived of spectators, as one is deprived of air, forbidden to rehearse, they grind black.
The sanction taken against cultural places was brutal and massive. When travelers are allowed to mix on trains or planes, when restaurants are encouraged to extend their terraces, markets their stalls, shows have been the big forgotten ones of the recovery.
