Germany recorded 1,427 new confirmed cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number to 230048.

In South Korea, the Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced 324 new infections yesterday, bringing the toll to 16.670, and the number of deaths rose by two to 309.
