The municipality of the Chinese capital, Beijing, announced today that the city is free of coronavirus infections.
The Xinhua News Agency quoted the Beijing Municipal Health Committee as saying today that no new or suspected local cases of Coronavirus were reported in the Chinese capital during the past 24 hours.
Since the 27th of last July, Beijing has recorded 4 confirmed cases, which were in contact with new cases in the northeastern city of Dalian, and among those four cases, three patients recovered and were discharged from hospital.
And the Chinese authorities announced earlier today that 22 cases of corona were recorded throughout the mainland of China, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 84,939 cases, while the number of deaths remains constant at 4,634 cases.
