A shooting broke out during the night of this Friday in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito, after criminals opened fire on a group of policemen who were chasing them for having stolen a car. One of the robbers was killed and two others were injured.
According to the first information, it all started around 10 p.m., when five armed robbers, aboard a vehicle, intercepted a white Audi A3 in Palermo: they threatened the driver and stole his car .
Alerted to what happened, the Police mounted a broad operation and a persecution began. In an attempt to escape, the assailants collided with the City's motorcycles and began firing.
As a result of the shooting, which ended at the intersection of Víctor Martínez and Juan Bautista Alberdi streets , one of the criminals died while two others were taken with injuries to a health center. Among the rest, there is a detainee and another fugitive.
The police, meanwhile, were investigating the presence of a person who entered a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound by his own means to determine if it was the assailant who managed to escape.
The shooting shocked residents and motorists who circulated in the area, who uploaded photos and videos to social networks.
