First she tried it for the first time at the test station on the A8, then drove on because of long waiting times. Two doctors were then unable to help. And according to a report by the ARD magazine Monitor, things don't seem to work properly at the airports either.

The service provider "Ecolog", the operator of the test stations at the Bavarian airports, admitted this to "Monitor". Example: A family of four from the Upper Palatinate had returned from Mallorca before the island was declared a corona risk area. There were already problems with the data acquisition in the test station at Nuremberg Airport . A promise to deliver a result within 24 hours was then not kept. The family has been waiting in vain for a week. Numerous attempts to obtain information via the telephone hotline have failed. Mother Heike H. on the fifth day of waiting: “I am horrified , I did not manage to talk to anyone about it.” Instead, the family was asked by e-mail to send the data and test numbers again.

After the test breakdowns on Bavarian motorways, Health Minister Melanie Huml came under pressure. The opposition spoke of a "blatant government failure". In a special session Huml apologized, there was no resignation. Söder had previously rejected her offer.
