A young man who had been missing for a month in the Buenos Aires district of Lomas de Zamora was found hanged in the Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve , which is closed to the public, and his family denounced the alleged staging of a suicide scene.

The sources indicated that the young man found on Friday night in the reserve was Franco Martínez, 21, who had been seen for the last time on July 23 when he left his home in the town of Villa Albertina, and whose disappearance was reported two days later.

According to sources, an anonymous call to 911 allowed them to go to the reserve located in Costanera Sur, where City Firefighters found the body of a young man hanging from a tree, about 500 meters from the road to Los Plumeros.

Hours later, the missing young man's sister, Lisset, went to the morgue and recognized the body, which had the same clothes with which he had left home.

The sister herself and other family members denounced that both the Buenos Aires police and the Lomas de Zamora prosecutor's office 16 did not look for the young man.

"Franco rest in peace. That false scenario disguised as a suicide I don't believe it . Let's find the truth. Everything murky from day 1, "Lisset wrote on his social media.

Meanwhile, sources from the City Police detailed that the body found corresponded to a male between 25 and 35 years old who was "rotten with a date of death one week to 20 days."

In addition, they indicated that a cell phone that he had in his possession was seized to determine his last steps since his disappearance, the spokesmen added.

The body was sent to the Buenos Aires judicial morgue for identification and to obtain expert results on the case.

The family had mobilized in Lomas de Zamora and spread banners to find the young man and denounced "lack of agility and activity " of the Buenos Aires police and the prosecutor's office that took up his complaint.

The young woman's brothers also spread a text on social networks in which they assure that the young man "on the day of his disappearance had loaded his SUBE to make a round trip from Lomas de Zamora to CABA and had requested another circulation permit to visit his sister Lisette in Admiral Brown. This proves that he had no intention of committing suicide . "

In addition, they affirmed that "he had never been to the Ecological Reserve" and pointed out that this property is "inaccessible to the public due to restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic."
