Iranian Representative Hossein Raisi affirmed that the steadfastness of the Iranian people has failed the Americans' plans to achieve their goals despite the various unilateral pressures being applied against them.
Fars News Agency quoted Raisi as saying in a press statement today: “Americans should understand that they cannot achieve their goals through the implementation of the maximum pressure scheme,” noting that the Iranian people have endured difficulties in recent years and have not abandoned the resistance in the face of US illegal aims.
Raisi added that the Iranian people do not yield to injustice and arrogance, no matter the circumstances, explaining that the US administration imagined that placing obstacles on the path of Iran's progress through the embargo would stop it, but that was a wrong perception and could not influence the determination of the Iranian people to achieve their goals.
