A drowning incident took place this evening (Sunday) in the area of the marina in Tel Aviv, after a report was received of a mother and son who drowned and lost their traces.
Police forces with the help of a ship began searching for them and shortly afterwards located the two, at the same time rescuing two civilians who were exhausted after trying to rescue them from the water. After the resuscitation attempts, medical officials were forced to determine the death of the mother, a 43-year-old resident of Tel Aviv. The son was treated on the spot and is in good condition.
