Earlier today, the Finance Committee discussed MK Zvi Hauser's bill (Derech Eretz) to postpone the budget approval for a hundred days for a second and third reading, in order to prevent or at least postpone the dissolution of the 23rd Knesset. White, the votes were postponed to 21:00.

MK Hauser's bill stipulates that the Knesset will not be dissolved tomorrow at midnight and the final deadline for passing the budget will be postponed from August 25 to November 25. According to the agreement with Shas and Torah Judaism, a section will be added to the bill that stipulates that government ministries will receive a 2.5% budget increase for 2020, and from the increase that will be transferred to the Ministry of Education, NIS 400 million will be transferred to yeshivas and kollels.
