Less than 48 hours before the dissolution of the Knesset, the Finance Committee discusses a law that will allow the decision to be postponed by 100 days • Last week, the debate exploded due to the opposition's refusal to accept the terms
The Knesset's Finance Committee is convened at this time (Sunday) to discuss the bill to postpone the budget of MK Zvi Hauser (Derech Eretz faction) prior to its approval in the second and third readings.

Recall, last week the debate was suspended due to the opposition's disagreement with the conditions for postponing the budget. If the Knesset does not approve the law by midnight tomorrow, it will be dissolved and Israel will go to the fourth election in a year and a half.
MK Hauser yesterday proposed another compromise proposal, in which, among other things, the entire procedure for appointing senior officials, including the State Attorney, will be frozen until the conclusions of the committee to examine the issue are published.
