If you did not have enough trouble in 2020 then the US space agency wants to update that an asteroid is making its way towards Earth and is expected to reach our space on November 2, the day before the US presidential election.

The celestial body known as "2018VP1" after being located two years ago is not supposed to hit our planet but it is of interest because of its imminent path. Experts at NASA noted that the asteroid is not particularly large, about two meters, and therefore does not endanger the Earth as it would burn and decompose in the atmosphere. According to calculations, the chance of "2018VP1" hitting the Earth stands at 0.41 percent.

Global destruction

NASA's monitoring of asteroids stems from a directive by the US Congress to locate 90 percent of all asteroids approaching Earth and more than 140 meters in size and to report asteroids of any size.

The American and global concern is about an asteroid that will be in orbit with the Earth. In this case it will endanger satellites, the International Space Station and if it is large enough it could cause global damage that the corona virus compared to it is like a child's play.
